It's the quality : Skinny or being fit is important when it comes to cholesterol implications, but just as important are 2 other factors: family history of premature coronary artery disease or vascular disease; and then the fractionation of the cholesterol values. Some individuals have normal total cholesterol values but have skewed, abnormally high LDL (bad chol) values. See a doctor if either pertains to you!
