Throat problem: More details are needed. It is difficult to understand what you mean by weird, funny, blocky, feeling in your throat. Is this a recent problem? Or, is this a chronic problem. Are there other symptoms like soreness, phlegm, post-nasal drip, trouble swallowing, painful swallowing, recent infections, allergies, or acid reflux. You need to discuss this with an otolaryngologist to get better answers.

See an ENT: You have an abnormal sensation in your throat. Needs to be checked out. Likely may need some imaging. Various possibilities exist that need to be ruled out.
