Very high!: The five year survival rate for all breast cancer is over 90%. Her2+ cancers used to have the worst prognosis, but Herceptin (trastuzumab) changed that. Now they have a very good prognosis if they are caught at an early stage (stage 1 or 2). The stage really determines the prognosis, so without that information i can't give you a number. But I am happy for my patients with a her2+ cancer-- many treatments!
