It could be but I: Am not sure i would call it an "addiction." fruits are high in sugar, and thus in calories, so the biggest problem would be weight gain, obesity and the risk of diabetes. If you are truly compulsively eating fruit, it is more likely an eating disorder of form of obsessive-compulsive disorder than addiction. Talk to your health care provider about your concerns, who might refer you for counseling.
