Heel pain: The most common cause of pain on the bottom of the heel is plantar fasciitis, but there are many other possible causes including entrapped nerves and stress fractures. If the pain is on the back of the heel, it may be related to Achilles tendinitis.

Pain: Sitting on one foot can sometime cause compression of the nerves going to the legs and feet. It can present as numbness, tingling or pain. Strecthing exercises can be helpful.

Many things: Without specifics it is tough to say. There are many things that cause heel pain. Fractures, nerve entrapment, sprains/strains, bone tumors, infections... The most common cause in my office is plantar fasciitis.
