Is pepsi or coke ok to drink during pregnancy if it is also how much is considered to be a safe amount for the baby and mother?

Water is the best thing to drink during pregnancy but 8-12 oz of coke/soda once in a while is probably safe. Alcohol of any kind should be avoided in pregnancy though.

Avoiding caffeinated sodas, or for that matter, artificially sweetened sodas, during your pregnancy is a good idea. However, all things in moderation. If you have distressing cravings for the same kinds of nonalcoholic drinks, then limiting the dose you are exposing your unborn baby to is a wise choice.
