No: Pain in the tonsil is referring pain to the ear. If the hearing has not changed, I would consult an ENT doctor for treatment of the right tonsil and the ear pain should resolve. Nothing is wrong with your spinal cord. The referred pain is through the vagus nerve. Pain from the tonsil (vagus nerve) is referred to the posterior ear canal which is also innervated by branches of the vagus.
