A member asked:

My child is 11 years old, and she almost always has a sniffly nose?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Chronic rhinitis: Chronic rhinitis or constant runny and sniffly nose usually is due to allergies but can also be related to sinus infections, nasal polyps or other less common conditions. If over the counter antihistamines have been tried for two weeks and the symptoms have not improved it is time to get your physician to assess your child.
