Depends on you: Sleeve gastrectomy is a physiologic restrictive operation. The average weight loss is about 70% of the excess weight. However, it depends on the patient and his/her initial weight before surgery. Nothing say that you cant lose all your excess weight if you follow the instruction of the diet and exercise. I have several patients who lost more than 100 lbs. in the first 6 month after the surgery.
