Depends on type: Heavy weight training tends to increase testosterone and growth hormone levels temporarily. With regular weight training, it is possible to increase the body's production of testosterone. Keep in mind, testosterone production is dependent on many factors, including nutrition, sleep, stress, and age.

If you lose: weight and improve your overall health, it can't hurt your testosterone level, but probably won't increase it much. Why do you need a higher level anyway? Level could be low if you've been taking anabolics and or opiates. Talk w/your doctor if you have a concern.
