I'm not really: sure if this is the situation....but there are two numbers for bp. The top is the systolic, and the bottom is the diastolic. Often in young children, bp is difficult to take and only the systolic can be determined. So the top number is recorded and the bottom is left blank. This does not mean your child does not have a diastolic blood pressure. I assure you, they do.
