Conductive, Sensori-neural, genetic, progressive, congenital, auto-immune to name a few. No problem: You live in the medical capital of the U.S. if not the world. If you can't find expert advice for your hearing loss at Harvard, Tufts, or BU, you're not looking in the right places. However, if you've been told that nothing can be done about your hearing loss and you're having trouble accepting it, there's at least a fair chance that the "experts" won't tell you any different.
