Attention seekers!: He must have learned that this gets him attention. Try to divert his attention to something else that is fun and he will forget this behavior. At this age they love to get attention and whether it is negative or positive attention, they will continue with it. So if their focus is diverted to something else that is fun for them, they will soon forget the unwanted behavior.
