What are health benefits of pickled garlic?

I do not claim to be: Any type of expert on food supplement; however, from what i was informed, any benefits of garlic are obtained by eating fresh garlic from the clove. It is possible that any "good" chemicals in the garlic may be lost with the pickling process.
