LMP: Remember, dating can never be exact - it's really just to get the best estimate for both tests throughout pregnancy and estimated date of deliver. If the ultrasound and the dating by your last menstrual period are pretty close, usually your dating will go by your last menstrual period - unless you were sure of it, or it was irregular, of you were taking birth control prior to pregnancy. Congrats!

They actually agree: Hello although early ultrasounds are the most accurate, they are just a photograph, and can easily measure off by a week. If you are certain of the first day of your cycle, and especially of conceptinn date, that is more accurate even than an early ultrasound. It is considered 'agreement' if the sono is less than a week off from the menstrual dating.
