Sharp stabbing pain in my hip and from the knee down a very painful ache and my toes feel numb. md wasnt that concerned, movement still pretty good?

Nerve pain: You may be expereincing nerve pain ( neuritis) or what you may call a pinched nerve. The pain and numbness can be related to many medical issues. I suggest trying advil or aleve (naproxen) ( antiinflammatory medication) if you are not allergic; however if not relieved you should get a medical workup for nerve pain.

Im concerned and: i didn't even examine you. I would see a neurologist and have an emg/ncv study.
