Common finding: About a third of women will be gbs positive at any point in their pregnancy, including near delivery. I would proceed to the hospital when your water breaks or under the labor guidelines given you by your ob. They will want you available to give doses of IV antibiotics several hours apart before delivery to help reduce infection risk for baby.
