Why would someone need a balloon sinusplasty? they sound relieving!

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sinusitis: There are many ENT specialists who perform sinus surgery using a balloon sinuplasty. The idea is simply to open up the small openings that lead from the nose into the sinus cavity. The 2 sinuses where this procedure seems logical is the maxillary sinus (in the face) and the frontal sinus (above the eyes). The concept is to enlarge these openings to provide better ventilation and drainage.
