A member asked:

If the cosopt and xalatan (latanoprost) do not bring down eye pressure what else can be done?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Options: Cosopt includes 2 medications (timolol and dorzolamide) that affect the eye pressure in different ways. Xalatan (latanoprost) affects it in yet another way. There is one more class of eye drop, called brimonidine. If the addition of it does not help, there are non-medical options. The least invasive involves laser. If that is not effective, surgery may be needed.
