That is abnormal: Unless you were vigorously brushing your teeth and the gums bled. Stop smoking and if it occurs again from the mouth under same circumstances contact your dentist. If you have spontaneous bleeding from the urinary or gastrointestinal tract consult your doctor or head to your local emergency department.
