Do you have rheumatd: First we need to know if you have a confirmed diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis(ra)? If you do, then this neck pain can be related to RA and should respond to pain meds that you have used for treating your ra. You need to ask your treating doctor about how to manage the neck problem which can arise from arthritic problem in your cervical spine(neck). Tylenol (acetaminophen) take every 6 hourly would help for now.
