How do u go about coming off a ppi after being on it 4+ years? i'm also on cimetidine for mast cells, will this help alongside trying to wean off ppi?

PPI: Patients who have been on a proton pump inhibitor for long periods of time may experience rebound hyperacidity when discontinuing the medication. Consult with your physician how best to taper the dosage of the ppi. The Cimetidine for the mast cells will help to reduce the dosage of the ppi.
