Not likely: This is a common theory from action films and some novels. If the only consequence of the hit is broken or fragmented nasal structures you would not die. If you have a bleeding disorder, you could bleed to death. The hit would have to be hard enough to impact the brain cavity and cause problems there to lead to death.
