Could be both: If your sinus symptoms are from infection, you may still have a smoldering sinus infection. However, your symptoms may now be due to rhinitis medicamentosa, a condition caused by prolonged over use of nasal decongestant type medications. You need to visit your doctor and stop using the nasal medications.
