CEREBRAL PALSY: Classified differently: #1. Physiologic: spastic, athetoid, ataxic, atonic, mixed, unclassified. #2.Topographic: mono/para/hemi/tri/di/ quadri/ paraplegia, double hemiplegia, etc. #3.Etiologic: prenatal e.g. Infection, metabolic, toxic, anoxic, genetic etc. Perinatal- anoxia. Postnatal: toxic, infection, trauma. #4. Functional- degree of limitation e.g. Class i to class iv.
