What to do if i feel strange off citalopram?

Discontinuation syn?: If an SSRI like citaopram (Celexa) is taken a while & then stopped suddenly, there is often a "discontinuation syndrome." For most people this lasts only a few days, & is not to be confused with the original problem (depression etc) coming back. Talk to your prescriber about tapering the med more gradually. If "strange" = depressed or anxious after several weeks off the med, maybe you need it?
