A member asked:

What does it mean if i have failed depth perception test but have 20/20 vision?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Separate functions: 20/20 refers to the acuity of vision, hopefully at this level in both of your eyes. Depth perception (stereovision) refers to a brain function in which the input from both eyes together is summed producing an image in depth. Some lack this part of the brain wiring but can see well otherwise. This may be true for you.
