Exercise: Engage in regular aerobic exercise (i.e. running, swimming, Nordic track, bicycling, kickboxing, walking, cross country skiing, hiking, etc.)

Walking, Bikes: Start with Daily walking for 30 minutes to an hour. Find a sport she is interested in. Bike riding for transportation is great for kids this age. Be sure to incorporate her ideas and personality here. Don't forget good old fashioned family play at a local park, frisbee, tennis. If she is interested she can join a gym at this age, do weight training and treadmill.
