Donor or Recipient?: Egg donors are usually <30yo and also screened for good egg quantity. They undergo IVF stimulation and retrieval. Most women do not require pain meds after procedure. We average 15-30 eggs per retrieval. Success rates depend on fresh vs frozen eggs, the number of eggs used for insemination and the quality of the embryos. I hope this answers question.
