No: Fluid in the kidney or hydronephrosis mostly is due to an obstruction in the urine pathway from pelvis, ureter to bladder even urethra. It could be a stone which is most common at your age or a stenosis in the pathway. Although a solid lesion can cause obstruction too. An ultrasound is a good starting test.
