Creatine: Creatine is produce in the kidney and liver and travels in the blood to muscles where it is utilized in the production of ATP an energy molecule. There is some evidence to show that it can increase muscle mass and strength. Too much has led to asthma, diarrhea, and kidney damage. Liver function can be altered too if too much is ingested. Studies in patients on dialysis did not show benefit.
