Take it.: Levothyroxine is usually prescribed for the condition of hypothyroidism. Labs are used to determine if you are suffering from thyroid disease. If you are not tolerating the effects of the medications, follow up with your doctor and let him know. If in doubt, check your labwork for TSH, Free T3, (liothyronine) Free T4 labs or get 2nd opinion.
