Not necessarily: Second degree burns range from minor to very serious. In general, you should remove the roof of the blister, wash the burn with soap and water once a day and apply something like Bacitracin ointment and a dry bandage. If there is increasing pain, drainage, redness, or if not healed in about 10 days, you should see a doctor.
