Frustrating: You simply cannot exercise enough to do the job. Exercise is good but 1 scoop of ice cream can take an hour to work off. To lose weight, you simply must eat less calorie dense foods and eat less food in general. It's harsh but true. Drinking lots of water helps. Exercise is good because it keeps you in the right ("healthy") frame of mind. Stay busy. Eat fruits & vegetables which have fewer calorie

Weight loss: You must burn more calories than you take in. This means you must cut your calorie intake down significantly and increase your exercise significantly. In general this means an hour or more of active exercise a day while you are cutting out any excess calories. Drink water instead of caloric drinks and learn to only eat what you need in a day. Learn the calorie impact of the foods you eat
