A member asked:

Do you know which metal used for making surgical rods used in bone fracture surgery?

From studies....: ...Surgical stainless is strong but bendable, titanium has about the same elasticity of bone, but if exceeded can break. The selection is up 2 the surgeon to use the implant that hopefully meets his needs 2 treat the fracture. So there are weaknesses in each choice.
