It depends: Headaches after dental extraction could be associated with infection of the tooth base, but it is usually associated with symptoms of fever, pain or swelling. If you don't have these symptoms ; only have headache then it might not be related with the procedure. I would suggest you to take tylenol (acetaminophen) ; see if you don't have symptoms of infection. If there are any symptoms of infection, then see an md.

Headache: Unusual for lower molar extraction to be related to headache. If you feel you have sinus involvement, it's entirely possible that you have an unrelated sinus infection that is causing the headache. Check with the Dentist or specialist Oral Surgeon that did the extraction. They may want to refer you on to your Physician or an ENT.
