Groin Swelling.: Could be the indication for the presence of an inguinal hernia. This is certainly of concern if the swelling and your symptoms are of new and/or rapid onset. If the swelling persists even with you lying down and if the nausea continues i suggest that you be seen by a physician sooner rather than later. Call your personal physician and if he/she is unavailable, go to your local emergency room.
