Twin Pregnancy?.: Ultrasound exams routinely done for pregnancy evaluation may find a second sac that is irregular and this may be due to a twin pregnancy that has undergone demise or lack of viability. The first sac if contains a fetus with heart rate and normal in appearance usually goes on to full term delivery.
