I have noticed for the last 6 months one of my ears has flakey ear wax while my other one is normal what is the cause of the flakey ear?

Normal asymmetry : It's normal for both ears to produce different amounts and types of wax. Flakiness is usually due to not enough natural oil in canal. You can use a little baby oil in the canal a couple times a week to soften it up.
