What would fishy odorous urine, nitrites, protein and an alkaline ph on urinalysis mean?

Bacterial Vaginosis: Women who have bacterial vaginosis can have a vaginal discharge that smells fishy and causes you to have an alkaline ph. Any infectious process involving your urinary tract can have some degree of proteinuria. I would suggest you seek treatment from your physician for suspected cystitis/uti and see if your symptoms don't resolve.

Here are...: Generally speaking, fishy odorous smell --- possible uti; (+) for protein --- possible kidney tissue injury by various diseases; (+) nitrite --- UTI by gram(-) bacilli ; intermittent alkaline urine means probably okay. So, it's alright as long as urinalysis is showed no suspicion for uti, urine culture show no bacteria, blood test shows normal kidney function, and you void comfortably.
