Fibula break with li: Yes, the nerves are compressed because of the swelling and the foot can become numb. Get off your foot, elevate it, use crutches so that there is no weight on this foot asap and get treated either with a soft cast for a few days than a hard cast or surgery, let your orthopedist decide depending on the x-rays either way you should not put any weight on this limb or you can dislocate the fracture.
