Causes...: Of itching without rash include medicines, foods, dust, pollen, and stress. It could also be an allergic reaction to something that contacted your skin and hasn't yet formed a rash (although any rash would probably have appeared by now). But it could also be a sign of an underlying internal problem, so if it doesn't respond to a good antihistamine like Allegra or claritin, (loratadine) see your doctor.
