UTI probably: Extensive work up is reassuring. Yes chronic cystitis and urinary tract infection could cause low to mid back pain especially if there is an extension causing kidney infection. Continue to follow with your doctor as urinalysis and urine culture and appropriate antibiotics may correct the problem.
