Blood donation: If you're an 18 year old who's just gotten his hemochromatosis diagnosis, then i want to say -- congratulations! you're escaped years of "the blahs" and ultimately becoming seriously sick with cirrhosis, heart rhythm problems, and/or diabetes. Treating this common disease by phlebotomy is a piece of cake, and in fact, you can manage it "naturally" as a blood donor serving others.
