POD: I assume that you are referring to polycystic ovarian disease? Ithink you must have a thorough physical and pelvic exam, a transvaginal us, full blood and urine workup to include hgba1c and a gtt. Metformin is currently the drug of choice if you have pod. Antispasmodics will help with cramping as will nsaids. Seek gyn evaluation-asap and thyroid evaluation in addition to the above mentioned tests.
