Had iv infus, approx 8 litres over3 days for gastroenteritis. now home but weight has increased by 4 kgs and legs very swollen. should i be concerned?

Overhydration?: You may have merely received too much IV fluid., and 8 litres could be excessive depending on circumstances. However, you may also have some compensated heart failure that was unmasked by the fluid you received. Give it a couple of days to resolve, but do also discuss this with your doctor.
