Possibly: There are many causes of swollen eye lids. The most common is heredity. Fluid retention from salt, allergies, and decreased thyroid function, repeated bouts of crying, obesity, infection, eye irritation are among the causes. Repeat vomiting can also be a cause. A consultation with a facial plastic surgeon, plastic surgeon, or oculoplastic surgeon would be helpful in finding the cause.
