Benign condition: It is not a dangerous ; however a very annoying condition. There are medications which can be used such as over the counter dramamine; however these episode are usually over in moments, i would suggest a full ENT evalution and balance testing.

Sometime: Bppv or vertigo is a problems with crystals in the inner ear. It can be treated with a series of manuvers called the epley manuver. There is no medicine however to prevent it from occuring.
