Anxious? Mindfulness: Our heart is much closer to the left chest wall and comes even closer if your turn on your left side. So if your heart is beating faster, you are likely to feel it. Find out why your heart is beating fast. Are you under stress/anxiety? Learn to relax yourself to calm down your mind and you can do this by taking deep breaths and focusing your mind on your breath for few minutes(mindfulness).

Not important: When you sleep on your left side, your heart is closer to the chest wall and may feel like palpitations/ pounding. No work up needed.
