A member asked:

Centromere pattens (1:160) are they always an indication of scelroderma or crest? can it be present because of something else? ever a false positive?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See details: By themselves, these tests mean nothing. They are often present in normal and need to be interpreted in the context of the clinical symptoms. From your symptom description, i would not have ordered them in the first place.
